Nelson Bostock Unlimited are looking for an ambitious, talented Account Director or Senior Account Director to join their brilliant High Growth team. The role would suit a candidate who is passionate about fast-growth technology and is interested in joining one of the UK’s most dynamic and imaginative technology public relations agencies.

The role will focus on growing and servicing our portfolio of fast-growth technology clients across a number of sectors that include cloud, enterprise, fintech, retail, telecoms, security, mobility (connected and autonomous vehicles), etc.

One area where we’ve had notable success is supporting the growth of US firms in Europe, using London as a springboard. Through a combination of high-level consultancy, aggressive media relations and integrated comms strategies for clients, we’re one of the go-to agencies in London. Ideally, we would be looking for someone with good experience of working with these businesses; who is connected with relevant communities (VCs, industry groups, start-up groups etc.); and who can help us build our division. The individual needs to have a natural drive and ambition in their work, striving to go above and beyond to generate success for clients and the agency.

Requirements

The role requires…

  • A consultant who is able to provide senior counsel and strategy to four high growth clients (to be discussed at first interview stage)
  • A team leader – passionate about building out the team’s core media relations skills and delivering campaigns with real impact
  • A new business winner – able to grow the high-growth division (with support)
  • A senior agency lead – able to play an important role as part of the agency’s senior management team

Experience and skills

  • Strong experience, interest and understanding of working for technology brands and the fast-growth space
  • Account strategy, delivery, development and growth
  • Media relations
  • Client relationship management

  • Contribution to the overall development of the agency – including culture, brand and client service
