Account Manager for Central America

As an Account Manager in our Fragrances Division, you will be fundamental in presenting our most relevant fragrances to some of the business' customers and distributors. You'll develop a business plan targeting our distributors and local customers to achieve our sales goals and touch people's lives with delightful scent experiences. Sounds interesting? You'll report to the Sales Manager, and will be based in Guatemala; working four days onsite and one from home a week.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Identify business opportunities, determine accounts strategies and action plan.
  • Work with development and marketing teams, anticipating client needs and briefings.
  • Act as leader for all projects under your responsibility and define accurate pricing and margin parameters for them.
  • Develop successful working relationship at all levels of client organization.
  • Ensure high level of service and make Givaudan the partner of choice in clients under your responsibility.
  • Conduct commercial negotiations and demand follow-ups.
  • Oversee budget achievement, sales and profitability versus plan.
  • Work close to Customer Service on providing inputs for sales forecasting

Your professional profile includes:

  • Bachelors or Master degree in business administration, economics, marketing, or chemistry.
  • 5 years of experience supporting sales teams, being familiar with business routines and contact with clients.
  • Market understanding of trends in Personal and Home Care.
  • Hunting behavior for new clients and new business.
  • Fluency in English (90%) is required.
