The Australian Distilling Company, a leading-edge distilling business, with strong links to the wine industry is seeking an experienced, passionate and innovative sales specialist.

The Australian Distilling Co has grown out of a love for our beautiful cities from a family steeped in significant associations with the liquor industry and ultimately from a passion for crafting premium spirits.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic, hands on and hard-working Account Manager who possesses that hunter attitude to drive business growth and build our brands both locally and nationally. This newly created position is an integral part of Australian Distilling Co.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong record of success in selling and a passion and dedication to working with a growing and innovative company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting sales KPI’s for the On and Off Premise channels
  • Performing an effective Brand Ambassador role by actively promoting our quality product range and positively representing our brand at all times
  • Consistently building strong, productive business relationships
  • Identify, pursue and successfully close sales opportunities in line with the company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives
  • Recognising, anticipating and directing sales activity to solve customer issues, secure opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Increasing distribution of the brand portfolio
  • Conducting product training and tasting events
  • Managing and nurturing established accounts
  • Evening and weekend work and interstate travel will be required

  • Demonstrate a proven track record in consistently setting, meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrate a positive energy and a ‘can-do’ attitude with a drive and desire to do their best at all times
  • Be highly organised and motivated with an ability to work both autonomously and in a team
  • Possess strong personal values including high integrity, reliability and excellence
  • Demonstrate strong networking and communication skills in a variety of settings
  • Thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
