We have the ideal opportunity for an experienced Account Manager, who will develop and execute strategies for generating and driving new business, as well as maintaining and developing relationships in several strategic accounts within ANZ market.
The Account Manager is responsible for selling enterprise-level solutions to support project delivery and operations & management – as well as enterprise-level commercial offerings – into assigned accounts. Acting as primary contact within specified strategic accounts to determine the sales strategy and negotiate and implement approved contracts.
Prospect and close new business opportunities within assigned accounts using Account Management Planning and Strategic Selling that will expand the use of Bentley technology to achieve revenue goals.
Work collaboratively with the accounts, to understand their business, challenges and aspirations through regular account engagements.
Develop relationships at various levels including C-Level, VP’s and Directors within assigned accounts through use of direct sales techniques and translating customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value.
Identify and develop new accounts with the view of establishing long-term growth and expansion of referenceable accounts.
Develop and nurture a qualified sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue by following the Bentley Sales Process through utilising CRM as a daily sales tool and reporting system.
Promote our value proposition through multi-level account engagement, exploratory discussions to align the accounts needs with Bentley solution and service offerings, organising technical presentations and access to Bentley SMEs or other personnel.
Create effective proposals that link our solutions to the user’s business objectives and negotiate customer agreements and contracts.
Maintain appropriate knowledge of Bentley’s solution & service offerings and the various commercial models.
Keep abreast of the competitive landscape, industry trends, workflows and business drivers.
Participate in sales events such as: trade shows, webinars, product demonstration seminars, user specific technical demonstrations, etc.
Work collaboratively with marketing team to generate leads and grow sales pipeline.
What You Bring to The Team:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or related qualification with industry experience.
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in selling software solutions into the Engineering and infrastructure sector.
Knowledge of Digital Twins, BIM, CDE and their benefits are desired with ideally a background in Engineering Design / Construction. Experience in Asset Management solutions also a plus.
High level of PC literacy with appropriate MS Office applications proficiency.
Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills.
Self-motivating “can-do” attitude with a passion for achieving targets.
Very well disciplined and organised with a high level of personal integrity.
Fluency in English required.
