About the team

You will be part of the group wide Business Development function across Australia and New Zealand, designed to optimise opportunities for Kennards Hire and make our customers job easy and creating raving fans, by providing them with the solutions they need, when and where they need them.

About the role

As the Account Manager, you will be focused on retaining and growing the Hire business within the Perth Metro region. Your responsibilities are but not limited to;

  • Managing a specific portfolio of allocated accounts that will typically operate across multiple geographies and require multiple equipment categories,
  • Acting as the customer’s key contact within the Kennards business for the purposes of issue resolution and escalation
  • Analyse market intelligence, trends, pricing and competitor activities /threats to project market requirements and identify business development opportunities that will grow quality revenue
  • Conduct regular client review meetings
  • Build deep and enduring relationships with account contacts and promote revenue growth through awareness of emerging opportunities within the account and introduction of new products as they arise
  • Develop & implement  sales plans

About you

You are a self driven sales professional with a strong ability to build and maintain lasting relationships. You thrive in a fast paced environment that offers support, training and an amazing work culture. you will also have;

  • Have a minimum of 3-years sales experience with a track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Be able to implement company defined strategies and goals, but equally contribute to the development of account strategies.
  • Be able to quickly grasp and understand technical concepts and product benefits for often highly technical products.
  • Be results oriented and committed to winning business through exceptional customer service.
  • Be well organized with high attention to detail, coupled with excellent territory and time management skills.
  • Be highly motivated with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels but especially with key decision makers and influencers
