Palo Alto Networks Public Sector Sales team is hiring dynamic, high energy and driven sales people into our organization to develop customer relationships through onsite visits, phone, email, social selling and online demonstrations. As an Associate Account Manager for the Public Sector, you are the central point of customer contact; building relationships, delighting customers, advising the market, and leading a pivotal role in expanding our fast growing customer base!
The Associate Account Manager is a quota carrying field resource who has the sales responsibility in a specific territory, to achieve sales targets in the Public Sector segment working directly with customers and through partners.

What is LEAP?
The LEAP program is made up of early-in-career professionals launching into a variety of fields who want to be part of an industry committed to protecting our digital way of life.
LEAP is a two-year-long program designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to excel in your career. The LEAP Program focuses on skills like communication, adaptability, and performance elevation to help enable you as you launch your career.
We also provide a global community for new grads to create connections with each other throughout the company and throughout the world
+ Present Palo Alto Networks solutions in front of customers (travel required)
+ Build and maintain a constant/future revenue pipeline
+ Develop market strategies and goals for each product and service; understand the strategies, goals, and objectives of accounts
+ Identify and build plan for high touch accounts in territory
+ Establish and maintain effective relationships with sales teams of our channel partners
+ Take full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating knowledge of sales cycle
+ Achieve sales quotas on a quarterly and annual basis
+ Apply the sales cycle in conjunction with business process externally and internally e.g. sign-offs require relationships at all levels
+ Is passionate about their work
+ Is able to maintain focus on daily schedule and objectives and effectively set priorities
+ Is achievement oriented
+ Demonstrated ability to work well in a highly interactive environment
+ Sales experience is a plus
+ Proven track record in exceeding sales quotas and targets within the market is a plus
+ Understanding of channel partners and a channel-centric go to market approach is a plus
+ Is abreast of industry trends
+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
+ Intern experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or related role is a plus
+ Working proficiency in verbal and written German and English is a must
Note: This role is aimed for persons who recently completed their graduate/undergraduate degree
