Position Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for growing Eastman's Performance Films business covering Thailand and Vietnam. He/She will manage International Business development, account servicing, operations, and sales & marketing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in International business development activities, including new growth conceptualization
  • Support the formulation and implementation of business plans and objectives
  • Secure and manage strategic partners and customers
  • Monitor business performance through established lead indicators and growth strategies and the use of Salesforce.
  • Countries to cover are Thailand and Vietnam with the potential to take on responsibilities for other countries in Asia outside of China.

Distributers/Dealers/Franchises Management

  • Build relations and advise distributors/dealers/franchisees on price, service, business direction
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and market studies to evaluate potential distributors/dealers/franchisees in accordance with the company’s guidelines to support the selection of distributors/dealers/franchisees.
  • Ensure that systems, policies and procedures are applied for the effective and efficient operations of the distributors/dealers/franchisees business
  • Monitor distributors/dealers/franchisees operations and their volume/financial performance against set targets and recommend improvement programs to address underperformance including appointing new channel partners.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of incentive programs to boost distributors/dealers/franchisees sales performance.
  • Follow through with trainings on the Company’s products and franchise operations to equip distributors/dealers/franchisees with the appropriate expertise and knowledge to achieve performance targets

Sales and Marketing Programs

  • Basic understanding of “Where to Play” and “How to Win”.
  • To develop a clear understanding of the buying process at the end consumer/distributor’s customer/PDI/OEM/Retail and the key influencers at each stage of the value chain
  • Support implementation of sales and marketing plans to penetrate new markets and capture market share in the window films industry in assigned territories
  • Achieve corporate sales target by aggressively opening up new markets as assigned through sourcing and appointment of new channel partners and
  • Drive success of existing customers by facilitating them to meet the required sales target through understanding of customers’ project pipelines
  • Participate in the development and implementation of joint marketing and promotional programs with country distributors/dealers/franchisees to increase sales.
  • Participate in automotive and architectural trade shows to gain competitive insights and actively hunt for new opportunities that can be serviced by country distributors/dealers/franchisees
  • Provide marketing support and consultation to country distributors/dealers/franchisees consistent with the company’s overall marketing strategies and image
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend new marketing initiatives towards the achievement of sales targets

Retail Outlet Management

  • Provide consultation and support to distributors/dealers/franchisees in the set up and opening of retail outlets consistent with the overall marketing and operational strategies of the Company
  • Evaluate retail site selected by distributors/dealers/franchisees to ensure that appropriate location is chosen prior to approval
  • Provides consultation to distributors/dealers/franchisees in the management of retail outlets to help them achieve their business objectives

Purchase Forecasting and Reporting

  • Support the preparation of annual and monthly sales forecast to determine stock requirements and submit to Head Office within the prescribed time frame
  • Generate and submit all required management reports to the head office within the prescribed time frame

Any new projects or programs as assigned from time to time for development purposes, roll out plan and implementation downstream.
