The role – Account Manager
ChannelAdvisor is experiencing record success and growth through consistent increasing levels of customer satisfaction and multiple new business wins. We are looking to further levels of customer retention & client engagement via the addition of an Account Manager to interact with online retailers, helping to maximise their e-commerce strategy by leveraging ChannelAdvisor’s Where To Buy (WTB) product & related solutionsThis is a strategic role, working with market leading e-commerce retailers and partners to provide the most comprehensive solution for our clients. You’ll be proactively developing and managing client relationships, encouraging customers to use and benefit from our solutions.


Responsibilities

Excellence and achievement within the role will be defined by increasing high levels of customer retention, success and growth. As a strategic member of the team you will forge tactical relationships as a trusted advisor in our customer-focused organisation as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility and accountability for all facets of customer success, retention, and growth, working as a strategic member of the team to enhance post-sales customer activity
  • Hands on involvement across customer on-boarding, support and success as well as professional services and account management with the ultimate objective of improving the retention, success & growth of our customer base
  • Collaboration with all divisions to improve and enhance the customer experience assisting sales teams to identify and nurture business opportunities for further expansion as part of our go-to-market strategy
  • Define and improve the customer lifecycle for all clients by establishing baseline metrics for measuring & improving customer progress throughout this, developing subsequent metrics and reports for clients and co-workers alike
  • Learning and retaining a subject matter expert level of knowledge of our WTB technology and implementation options to assist clients through colleague collaboration and online learning
  • Frequent, proactive client liaison through electronic, telephonic and face to face meetings to communicate new innovations and provide timely resolution to customer incidents

  • A proven track record of providing high levels of service in B2B organisations increasing customer satisfaction and retention
  • A demonstrated aptitude for both operating and thinking strategically whilst also being hands on and both detailed and solution orientated, working directly with customers when appropriate
  • Current knowledge of the e-commerce industry with clear desire to further this
  • A strong sense of ethics and integrity with a defined ‘customer first’ outlook
  • Demonstrable experience deploying and practicing the Net Promoter System for measuring the customer experience and a thorough understanding of its benefits
  • Proven experience with Software-as-a-Service business models within a global organisation is highly beneficial
