Advanced Safety and User Experience encompasses our deep expertise in software, centralized computing platforms, advanced safety systems and automated driving focusing on five areas that are transforming mobility: Safety Electronics, Infotainment, User Experience, Autonomous Driving and Connectivity & Security.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sales Account Manager will represent the division at the Customer for Active Safety and User Experience activities. In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks :
Understand and anticipate the customer’s global expectations; develop and coordinate the divisional customer strategy; and then communicate, lead, and coordinate the divisional ASUX activities to ensure compliance.
Achieve the expected growth and develop the business with the customer. Maintain customer relationship and coordinate external communication. Implement of the 5 years business plan.
Build good relationship with the customer that enhances the image of the Business Unit / Division / Aptiv.
Develop the worldwide business through a growth plan. Manage the Request For Quotation internally with all competencies and front of PSA Groupe. Negotiate prices, obtain purchase contract/orders, and ensure that invoices are paid.
Follow the program in development and make sure appropriate sales support and expertise are provided to the development team.
Establish the sales budget, and manage the sales forecast.
Select, prepare and lead the business pursuits in line with the 5 years business plan, internally and with the customer to ensure targeted win rate.
Understand and facilitate quality resolution, service, price / terms of sale, profit, technology, responsiveness, and performance issues. The Sales Manager will work with the division and/or business unit to manage these issues in whatever structure and framework that is applicable for the business.
Survey the market trend to anticipate customer request. Contribute to new technologies proposal and support Advance Engineering team front of the customer to develop the portfolio product.
Be knowledgeable of all customer programs; interface with Global Sales Mgr / divisional program managers who are working on specific customer forward programs; interact with and connect all divisional functions (sales, engineering, quality, logistics, etc.) to ensure that the customer’s expectations are being communicated and met.
Work with worldwide Engineering team; communicate technical requirements and trends back to the division and Aptiv technical centers.
