Account Manager: New Sales Data Services

Account Manager: NewSales (Data Services)
Purpose of therole:
The Account Manager serves as the primary business
contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction. The AM is
expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as
well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure
quality. In addition, the AM should build relationships with clients to
encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
Revenue
+ Achieve annual revenue and retention targets
+ Customer account and training plan
+ Delivery of overall growth interms to total revenue for entire customer base at agreed % over previousyears’ sales levels
Existing Clients and Business development
+ Responsible for client communications, conflict resolution, andcompliance on client deliverables and revenue
+ Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner
+ Owns the contract and contract renewals for new work for an existingclient
+ Assist with payment and collections
+ Works closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuousknowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/oropportunities within or related to the project
+ Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and newbusiness
+ Communicates the client's goals and represent the client's interests tothe team
+ Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, toprovide strong team representation and set proper client expectations
+ Understanding of company product, capabilities and services, andeffectively communicates all offerings to the client
+ Reports to the General Manager, providing regular input on all accountactivity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis
+ Account plans and training plan
+ Client training and education

+ Customers requiring training
+ Industry leaders
+ Possible travel within Africa
+ Domestic travel at least monthly in SA
MinimumRequirements:
+ Strong presentation and research skills
+ Computer literate with knowledge of MS office suite of applications
+ Valid driver’s license and own transport
+ Relative education and degree or Diploma or relating experience
+ Strong analytical and strategic skills
