Waypoint Foodservice Sales Account Manager
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrateanability to plan, organize, coordinate, administer and control salesand samplingactivity for the foodservice distributors we serve; primarily through end user customer/dining establishment visits throughout each day of the week. This will include excelling at generating and expanding business with all current and new end users/operators within Ontario by establishing and maintaining exceptional business relationships with the distributor representatives who sell to each end user.

+ Understand our manufacturers' and distributors' goals and needs; developing specific, actionable sales goals to meet these expectations.
+ increased sales. Target is to see 20 to 25 customers each week and record details of each visit in the company's CRM system on a daily basis.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.
+ Provide exceptional customer service and follow through to ensure increase in sales.
+ Prepare for, attend and follow up after food shows, district sales meetings and item placement meetings. Attention to detail and follow through are critical for this aspect of the role.
+ Complete daily reports in our CRM that clearly demonstratesexceptional attention to detail and the high level of commitment to manufacturers we represent.
Job and Skill Requirements
+ Minimum of 2yearsof foodservice sales experience; preferably with a fooddistributor or broker, exceptional candidates with hospitality management and serving experience may also be considered
+ Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships that exemplify our high standard of customer service.
+ A positive, professional, and proactive attitude with excellent communications skills.
+ Ability to produce quality reporting and status updates to company leadership and to key personnel for the lines we represent. Proficiency with web based sales software/CRM along with MS Office is required to effectively complete reports and update files when necessary.
+ High Energy,Motivated and assertive self-starter who can work independently as well as be a significant contributor to the team on a remote basis.
+ Innovative planning and follow-through skills to execute a well-developed sales plan.
+ Excellent time management skills to ensure that sales goals are met and each work-week is appropriately balanced; ensuring that at least 25 quality end-user sales calls are made each week.
+ Commitment to demonstrating integrity and honesty in all aspects of job function, as this is a remote role working independently on the road each day
Position will require daily local travel and occasional overnight travel outside the designated region. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

+ Prepare and conduct food shows and sales events with operators and distributors

+ Maintain competitive pricing and new/discontinued item information
+ Assist with vendor fairs, distributor sales meetings, food shows and industry trade events
+ Attend and provide support at manufacturer/distributor training events
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for represented clients
+ Evaluate sales opportunities and follow up on closed deals to ensure satisfaction
+ Maintain and grow portfolio of priority operators in assigned segment
