Position Description:
We are currently seeking for a NDT Account Manager in order to continue growth in the NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) market in his/her territory. Creaform is offering a code compliant solution for corrosion assessment on pipe-line, pressure vessels and other equipment. We target the Energy, Oil & Gas, Heavy industry and Aerospace markets for this application.
Candidates must have experience in selling of advanced NDT equipment: (Ultrasonic, Eddy current, Digital X-ray, etc) and should be technically proficient on this type of high tech equipment.
This position is based at Creaform location in China. He or she will be responsible to provide demonstrations, generate revenues and identify additional sales opportunities for the company’s products in the NDT sector.
The NDT Account Manager’s main role is to generate revenues on his/her territory directly and through distributor network by performing sales activities (demos, tradeshows, benchmarks, etc.) and managing actively his actual and future sales network.
Essentials functions:
• Generate direct and indirect sales revenue in developing a large contacts, clients and distributors network in his/her designated territory.
• Develop, maintain and manage distributors network in assigned territory to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales performance goals as required;
• Ensure the follow up of Creaform’s sales process ;
• Initiate and support marketing activities to support sales development;
• Participate in pre and post sales process to evaluate customer requirements, performing demonstrations, preparing quotes and follow up on delivery process, payment collection.
• Act as point of contact and provide technical expertise to potential customers during the pre-sales period through regular follow-up;
• Utilize all available resources including sales management, Inside Sales Specialists, Applications Engineers, marketing and others to advance and close sales ;
• Work closely with support department as per required;
• Work as part of the sales team to generate ideas for company sales opportunities, processes and systems;
• Manage leads/opportunity on his territory
• Maintain a balance between direct and indirect sales as per objective
• Minimum 5 years of experience selling on the NDT Market
• Knowledge of corrosion monitoring and inspection code.
• Degree in engineering
• Experience with distributor channel management is a plus
• Availability to travel on a frequent basis (up to 70% of time) within assigned territory.
• Knowledge and experience in oil & gas and/or aerospace industries are an asset.
