We are seeking an Accounts Officer to join IDEXX to support our regional finance team based across Australia and New Zealand. You will be performing a variety of activities, primarily in the areas of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable to ensure transactions are processed in accordance with IDEXX policies and processes. Importantly, you will be required to liaise with the team cross-functionally including sales, marketing and customer experience, as well as the customer and supplier base of the business - so a customer service mindset and a relatable personality will be critical to the success in this role!
What you can expect
You will perform a variety of accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer data, employee travel data/credit card administration and more into a range of systems.
You will process transaction information such as invoices, authorisations and other information from multiple departments, outside vendors and others, ensuring that all information is complete and accurate.
You will be responsible for general customer queries, employee queries (i.e. expense claim process etc.), accounts payable/suppliers’ invoices, invoice payment & debtor queries.
You will assist entering AP/Suppliers invoices & process credit card supplier payment & purchase orders
You will generate expense and credit card reports and much more.
The successful candidate:
You will have experience in a similar finance support role
You will be an excellent communicator both verbally and written
You will be tech savvy, with skills across the Microsoft Office Suite
SAP experience is advantageous
You will be a self-starter with ability to thrive in a quickly changing environment
You will have the ability to meet deadlines, priotise your own work and have a high attention to detail
You will be ethical and have a high learning ability.
