Our client imports and sells products online. They have asked us to search for an Accounts Payable Assistant to assist with a range of AP /accounting tasks.
They move fast, work fast and play fast. Work can be chaos one day and chilled the next. But no 2 days are ever the same.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of supplier invoices (200-300 incoming invoices per day split between the team)
  • Accurately review, code and process supplier invoices
  • Matching weekly invoice and order records across multiple databases (e.g. invoice software, WMS, and Google Sheets)
  • Reconcile discrepancies: requesting missing invoice information from suppliers
  • Data entry associated with AP
  • Address and respond to supplier inquiries via email

Requirements

  • MYOB - a minimum of 3 years experience
  • CPA qualified will be preferred
  • Australian accounting experience will get you shortlisted
  • General admin experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent written English skills as you may need to contact suppliers and request additional information
  • Attention to detail
  • A "can-do" attitude to everything you do
  • Excellent working PC/Laptop
  • Reliable wired internet connection (Speed should be at least 10Mbps for download and 5Mbps for upload)
  • Noise-canceling headset
  • Quiet work environment
