About the role

We are looking for driven and results oriented Accounts Payable Officer to provide excellent customer service, mange company ledgers and resolve accounts payable queries.

You will deliver WOW service via phone and email. Your proven strong communication, proactivity and time management skills will ensure you build strong working relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Jaybro NZ, Global NZ, Global AU and Cadia invoices processing and payments
  • Management of the above entities Accounts Payable Mailbox
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Maintaining healthy supplier relationships
  • Ensuring supplier ledgers are up to date with no discrepancies
  • Accounts payables queries attended and resolved via telephone and email
  • Payment runs setup and allocations of accounts paid
  • Remittances sent by email to suppliers
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required by Finance Manager/CFO

Skills and experience

  • 1-3 years' experience as an Accounts Payable Officer
  • Previous experience using finance software
  • Previous experience in the construction industry highly regarded

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with all people at all levels of the business (both internal and external)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Team player
