About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly, professional team at our Head Office in Canning Vale, Perth.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will support Allied Pumps operations by enhancing the finance team’s effectiveness, providing information management support whilst representing Allied Pumps in a professional manner.

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of tasks such as: timely processing of invoices and payments, reconciliation of corporate credit cards and supplier statements, including supplier liaison, preparation & payment of o/seas creditors, review of GL coding  and support with the fortnightly processing of payroll.

About You

To be successful you will be passionate about our values; be professional and friendly, self-motivated with great communication, interpersonal and excellent customer service skills.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven accounts payable experience with high volume creditor ledgers.
• Electronic payment processing experience.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively process documents.
• Sharp eye for detail, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and right first time.
• Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to use initiative, multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Intermediate level in MYOB and Microsoft product suite.
• Problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to successfully communicate and liaise with people at all levels, both internal and external to Allied Pumps.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Highly Desirable Criteria:

• Experience of processing payroll in HR3 (approx. 100 staff)
• Business studies or qualifications would be an advantage
