Achieving the Net Sales Target for assigned Field wholesale Customers – both customers within the Full-Service and Self-Service portfolio.
Product presentations and retail staff training.
Visual Merchandising assistance and key Campaign tracking.
Order hold management and analysis using Excel, PowerPoint & adidas reporting system.
To develop assigned field customers, tap full potential and manage all interfaces towards adidas respecting the framework set by the Regional Field Manager.
To organise and conduct customer sell-in meetings, with the ability to clearly communicate guided assortments, seasonal focus products and technological updates.
To negotiate and enforce the adidas trade terms.
To complete weekly order hold checks and ensure the timely delivery of orders.
Work alongside internal stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the customer’ experience with adidas are handled in a prompt and positive manner.
To visit your assigned customers regularly – both metro and regionally, respecting the store visit guidelines and ensuring you are meeting the needs of your customer partner and their staff.
To build and utilise a planned phone call cycle to support our Self-Service customers utilising our online Ordering Platform as their interface with the brand by organising presentation times, preparing toolkit communications and calling with in-season opportunities.
To ensure utilisation of online portals across the store networks through training and ongoing support.
Provide visual merchandising and retail staff product training
To provide market intel to Field Senior management based on time in market.
Conduct detailed analysis of your stores performance and sell thru, with the ability to spot trends or opportunities for improvement.
To measure progress on own KPIs.
To monitor all relevant internal and external reports
To provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance.
To monitor and report on customers and competitors’ activities and propose/initiate/take actions.
To ensure customer compliance with agreements.
Total net sales and standard margin development according to budget.
Market shares with assigned Field Key Accounts and categories.
Adherence to sales working budget.
Implementation support for area initiatives.
Market - Customer Service, Sales Operations, Credit, Field Key Account Team.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Functional - > 2 years in sales, ideally with wholesale focus.
Industry - ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG.
Exposure - Sports.
Strong analytical ability with a good level of understanding of excel and use of reporting tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, previous experience in presenting to groups and phone sales advantage.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
High school certificate.
