Part Qualified Accountant, Construction

The Company

Our client is a leading construction company with ambitious plans to grow in during the next 18 months.  The role is varied and part of a small finance team with a lot of interaction internally and with key stakeholders of projects. 

The Position:

Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will support a number of projects having an operational and oversight view of these.  It will have involvement in the entire finance function including

• Monthly accounts preparation and analysis
• Statutory and tax returns
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow
• Full management of payment process including the supervision of the AP team
• Review internal controls and policies with a view to creating efficiencies
• Project costing
• Reconciliations including bank, cash, income
• Intercompany accounting
• Involved in additional ad-hoc finance duties as required

The Person

• Part-qualified accountant with relevant experience 
• Ability to lead a team and deal with multiple stakeholders
• Strong IT skills, in particular, advanced Excel
• Experience in a multinational environment an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industry
