Accounting Analyst - Contrato eventual por 1 año

Main Purpose

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

This role will replace team member’s maternity leave in Financial Accounting and it will be responsible for:

• Posting different monthly closing Journal Entries (funnels) in SAP P08 environment mainly for Paraguay and Chile and eventually for Argentina as well (such us: Accruals and provisions, Payroll entries, Turnover tax, Tax netting entries and other tax entries, several Balance Sheet reclassifications and accruals such as Long Term AR, collection accruals, etc…; cash & loans monthly postings, payment accruals, etc…)
• Monthly closing activities and reasonability checks for Paraguay and/or Chile (data validation of different reports in SAP such as PA data in KE30 report, monthly upload of Exchange rates; currency revaluation and translation monthly processes, among others).
• Accounts reconciliations for Paraguay and Chile: this includes monthly download and analysis of items, clearing of items in SAP, upload to Trintech system and follow up of pending items with different areas such us AR Reporting, Credits&Collections, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Payroll, etc).
• ICS: monthly audit checks around “MPW” tool. (journal entry requests)
• Information requests towards different areas/organisms (INDEC, BCRA, etc..)

Your mission will be to ensure Paraguay and Chile monthly closing processes run timely and accurately, and account reconciliations.

• University degree in Accounting.
• English, both spoken and written will be valued (Intermediate).
• Knowledge of IFRS & local GAAP reporting requirements will be valued.
• Knowledge of the global accounting processes.
• Knowledge of SAP (P08).
• Knowledge of MS Office (mainly Excel).
• Good communication skills.
• Strong result-oriented, methodical and efficiency-driven skills. Proactive and autonomous work skills.
• Ability to identify process optimization.
