Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in periodic actuarial investigation into the financial soundness of the company and profitability analysis. In addition, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reports, group reports, management information and any ad hoc reporting requested by regulator & group
  • Conduct and enhance actuarial controls in analyzing and explaining movements of the actuarial outputs.
  • Risk management on the portfolio & necessary and reliable experience study and analysis.
  • Co-operate with planning team to conduct the business plan. Assist in analysing and explaining the key results.
  • Co-operate with other departments to maintain and provide assistance in research and development on procedures and methodology for issues related to the Actuarial division.
  • Comply with the Group compliance policy in order to adhere to the relevant local and Group compliance procedures and obtain satisfactory audit and regulators’ review reports


Key Requirements:

  • University graduate or equivalent
  • At least 3 SOA preliminary exams passed
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in life insurance industry
  • Good command of English and Chinese
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Knowledge in Prophet and asset–liability modelling would be an advantage
