Job Description

Who are we looking for?

Due to Fulton Hogan’s ongoing growth within the Region, we are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our team and deliver the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.

The job

You’ll be responsible for wide range of responsibilities including;

  • Processing data necessary for the preparation of invoices and maintenance of accounts.
  • Processing creditor invoices and key data into the creditor system.
  • Payroll – ensuring employee time sheets are sent to Share Services and undertaking the monthly reconciliation of creditor statements.
  • Answering calls and attending to visitors.
  • Purchasing Road User Licenses and maintaining the Fleet System.
  • Purchasing of stocks and issuing of stationary.
  • General Office Duties.

Operational hours are from 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

You’ll use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our customers, and our people (we’re one big whanau). And you’ll have the skills and experience to help us achieve our strategic objectives.

You’ll also

  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job and work instruction.

  • Help your team-mate do their job.

Experience and attributes;

  • Experience working as an administration assistant within a similar industry.
  • Customer service experience both in person and over the phone.
  • Microsoft suite proficient.  
  • High computer competency.
  • Professional on the phone manner.
  • Experience using JDE & Maximo advantageous, but not essential.
  • Class 1 license minimum.
  • Excellent ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
