Administration Officer and Marketing Assistant

About the role

A rare opportunity has arisen for a professional and experienced Administration Officer who has a passion for Marketing to join our dynamic team during a period of business expansion. Based just minutes from the Toowoomba CBD, this role is ideal for an experienced individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment and diversity in their responsibilities across all areas of administration.


  • Diary Management for respective managers / Coordinating travel arrangements
  • Carry out the day to day administration functions including handling incoming and outgoing calls
  • Assist with marketing and advertising for the CFT Business
  • Assist with the creation, design and modification of high-quality publications and relevant documentation
  • Collaborate with the wider Sales and Business Development Team by contributing written articles and creative content
  • Plan and coordinate a variety of events, conferences and meetings
  • Assist with maintenance of the company’s CFT website
  • Dealing with confidential reports and information
  • Assist with tender development and estimation
  • Credit Card management
  • Procurement of goods and services
  • General administrative tasks to support office as required

Skills and Experience

  • 3-4 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Proven Publishing and Graphic Design Experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Managers and various stakeholders both internal and externally
  • Confident, proactive and professional manner
  • A critical eye in terms of accuracy with excellent proofing skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision
  • Understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Highly organised and task focused
  • Pronto system experience
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise
  • Flexible, can-do attitude
  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
