We are currently seeking motivated candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant in our Edmonton office.

What your day will look like
Word processing of a variety of large and small documents, including formatting, editing, proofreading, and overall quality review
General reception duties, including managing the switchboard, boardroom bookings and meeting arrangements, mail and courier arrangements, and other administrative related activities
General office maintenance and organization including meeting rooms, coffee area and other common spaces
Managing the flow and approval of accounts payable invoices throughout the office and liaising with finance staff to ensure timely processing
Document production duties, including photocopying, scanning, binding, and compiling pdf files
Maintaining the office filing systems
Maintaining and ordering office supplies
Setting up and maintaining office vendor agreements and relationships
Assistance with other activities as required to assist with the smooth operation of the office
What you will need to succeed
One to two years’ office administration related experience, preferably within a similar company (e.g., professional consulting ﬁrm)
A certificate or diploma from an administration related field of study is considered an asset
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and experience with document formatting
Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail, a high regard for accuracy, and the ability to provide high quality outputs
Experience using PDF editing software to create and edit files
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work effectively to meet tight deadlines and changing workload demands
Experience with Adobe CS4 (In-Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop)is considered an asset
Experience with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Google Docs/Sheets is considered an asset
