The Opportunity

The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, is the largest faculty at Monash University, and offers the most comprehensive suite of professional health training in Victoria. We consistently rank in the top 40 universities worldwide for clinical, pre-clinical and health sciences.

Based at Box Hill Hospital, this particular position will provide essential administrative support in Monash’s Eastern Health Clinical School. The Eastern Health Clinical School (EHCS) is one of three clinical schools in the Monash University Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, and represents the University’s presence in the rapidly-growing area of urban and outer Eastern Melbourne.

Working to support the various staff in the department and reporting to a supportive and engaging School Manager, Administration Officer will be responsible for providing a range of administrative, project and executive support services to the School Manager and various other internal and external stakeholders. This will include a range of activities such as supporting the delivery of core functions in relation to responding to queries, communications including timesheet administration, employee induction and training, drafting and preparation of documents and purchasing and travel arrangements.

The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, or substantial relevant skills and work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
