Description:
We are seeking a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups.
The LAC/LSW will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and supporting clients through evidence-based counseling practices.
Clinical supervision will be provided to support professional development and progress toward independent licensure (LPC/LCSW).
LAC/LSW Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individual services to clients of diverse backgrounds.
* Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
* Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with clients.
* Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with agency and licensing standards.
* Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions as required for licensure.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support client progress.
* Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to client needs.
* Respond to client crises and provide crisis intervention services as needed.
* Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
* Stay current with best practices, ethical standards, and state regulations regarding counseling.
LAC/LSW Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
* Active LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor) license in New Jersey.
* Active LSW (Licensed Social Worker) license in New Jersey.
* Eligibility and willingness to participate in clinical supervision provided by the agency.
* Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
* Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative team.
* Commitment to providing culturally competent and client-centered care.
* Previous experience in mental health settings is preferred but not required.
