  • Design and implement biosecurity algorithms for x-ray machines.
  • Develop leading image quality, automated segmentation and classification algorithms based on analysis of x-ray images (single, dual and multi-energy multi-view transmission, backscatter, Computed Tomography, etc.) to meet real-time system performance requirements.
  • Test, integrate and deploy the programs to systems.
  • Participate with the software and system teams to develop strategies and design approaches around the analysis of images, processing and production.

  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

  • Degree, Masters or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or closely related degree.
  • Experience with some of the following: deep learning and machine vision, segmentation, feature extraction, statistical analysis, classifiers, hidden Markov models, wavelets, neural network or similar a plus.
  • Experience in signal processing, image analysis and target recognition for security, medical applications or related field preferred.
  • Experience with deep learning Tensorflow framework, image processing development toolkits (e.g. OpenCV, Matlab) and open-source libraries desired.
  • Strong in C++ software development on Windows and Linux.
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm for problem solving.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
