We are looking for an Alliance Manager to join the Liferay Benelux-Region team. You will be responsible for the Indirect Sales Channel. Our office for the Benelux-Region is located in The Hague.

Primary duties
  • Own the success of the Channel & Alliances program for the Benelux-region;
  • Develop an intimate understanding of the Liferay Service Partner Agreement and Partner’s commitments and benefits;
  • Develop business plans with partners to achieve mutual business objectives;
  • Conduct quarterly/monthly business reviews with strategic partners to better understand their business initiatives, challenges to succeed and accomplishment of their goals;
  • Discover and recruit new Liferay partners;
  • Work with existing partners to ensure they have the tools, training and understanding of how to successfully build, sell and support Liferay as a growing part of their business;
  • Respond to, and negotiate inbound opportunities with prospective customers’ partners;
  • Work closely with Liferay Marketing and Channel partners to build marketing plans and conduct events focused on educating the market about Liferay's value proposition;
  • Serve as a bridge between the Liferay Account Executives and the partner network.
Your Profile
  • 6-8 years of experience in the enterprise software industry and commercial open source software
  • Track record in (over) achieving indirect sales targets
  • Experience in working with channel partners to sell enterprise software
  • Strong customer relationship and presentation skills, building relationships and networks
  • Solid understanding of building and executing partner programs
  • Experience in creating partner business plans
  • Experience in managing existing partners and recruiting new partners
  • Technical knowledge, especially with portals, collaboration, and content management software
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in social and collaboration software
  • Knowledge of the sales and delivery cycle of consulting projects
  • Team player
