Remuneration: $87,249 - $95,695 pa HEW Level 07 (plus 9.5% employer superannuation)

The Team

The External Relations, Development and Alumni portfolio (ERDA) group works collaboratively across the University to initiate, grow and steward strong person to person relationships with key stakeholders that support Monash University’s research and education endeavours. The Alumni Engagement team aims to drive improvement and create the conditions needed to ensure that Monash has the best alumni experiences of any Australian university. Their vision is to build deeper engagement with Monash alumni communities, in Australia and around the world, that truly drive the co-creation of impact.

The Opportunity

The Alumni Engagement team have an exciting new opportunity for an Alumni Engagement Adviser. In this role, you will be instrumental in contributing to the ERDA team and its goals and to the development of professional practice of alumni relations at Monash.

You will also be responsible for implementing and promoting alumni engagement opportunities across our priority international markets, affinity groups, and programs and services, based on a segmented approach to engagement.

Working creatively and closely with ERDA, faculty and other University staff, and alumni groups globally you will identify mutually beneficial engagement opportunities, deliver engagement and marketing plans, monitor take up and refine offerings.

Your highly-developed relationship management and consulting skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues across Monash to build a data and analytics approach to better understand the alumni community at scale, with particular reference to celebrating and engaging prominent alumni.
