We are recruiting for the Assistant Manager position in the Tax & Legal Ops team with experience in Client Account Coordination. Working as an Assistant Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:

Engagement Set Up (ESU)

Single point of contact for CST on all engagement set up admin activity, specifically:

  • Engage with ESU team when necessary e.g. to request processes kick off, ensure client ID checks are completed
  • Liaise with client / CST for information required to complete client acceptance and risk procedures e.g. risk input templates and risk document pack, requesting information from overseas offices where applicable
  • Keep Workflow, Sentinel, ACE and MSD tools updated where necessary
  • Review SANs completed by ESU team to ensure quality control
  • Work with overseas Audit teams to get SAN approvals through

Engagement Financial Management (EFM)

  • Engage with CST to update information required for processes kick off
  • Review & discuss client billing progress, queries and challenges with Engagement Managers/Leaders
  • Issue billing invoices to clients and provide backing data when requested
  • Request finance administration from KBS/system as required
  • Liaise with CST/EFM team on queries regarding fees, when necessary

Team Management

  • Responsible for the day-to-day activities and guidance of team members
  • Ensure that all members understand the team s objectives and work together to achieve it
  • Implement team goals and objectives
  • Supervise, train and guide team members
  • Mediate any interpersonal issues
  • Inspire and motivate team members
  • Provide effective feedback and be able to manage remote teams
  • Utilize technology effectively
  • Manage people development and performance management for their group.
  • Management reporting & SLA adherence
  • Resource management for the team

Other

Help Partners and Directors manage their overall portfolio of work. This could cover activities like;

  • Assist in adding new services to existing engagements in an efficient manner
  • Business Change Champion provide training to new joiners and refresher training to existing engagement team(s)Lead the critical Engagement Set Up & Financial management portfolio

Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum Master s Degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience with 1-2 years spent in people development & performance management, preferably in a Big 4 consulting firm
  • Ability to work on ERP systems/other financial reporting system & MS office tools

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role is ideal
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with colleagues internally and externally and with clients to achieve results and enhance business performance
  • Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work. Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work
  • A keen eye with attention to detail

  • Experience of SAP and Sentinel advantageous but not essential
