Position Title: Analyst Financial Planning and Analysis
*Position will be Fully Remote In Puerto Rico*
Position Summary:
The Analyst Financial Planning and Analysis assists Crewleader in maintaining our forecasting tool Business Planning Consolidation (BPC), understanding cost components and developing presentations for senior management. Participates in monthly, quarterly and annual variance reviews and in long term financial management, strategic initiatives and competitive analysis. The Analyst also assists with various ad hoc analyses as necessary.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain SAP-BPC technical environments; including dimensions, hierarchies, master data, script logic, templates, and reports
Lead QA testing for all major system implementations and changes
Perform monthly and quarterly data loads (headcount, actuals, and statistical drivers) in BPC
Work with IT and business users to resolve BPC defects and enhance forecasting and reporting capabilities
Assists Crewleader in proper financial analysis, collaboration and good thinking to provide strategic guidance and sound business decision support to leaders
Recognizes, analyzes and models various trends within the business and airline industry
Assists in creating and maintaining rolling 36 month and 5 year forecasts as needed
Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual presentations for Senior Departmental leaders
Prepares ad hoc reporting and analyses as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
One (1) year of finance and/or analytical experience
Experience using, supporting and administering SAP BPC or Similar SAP product
Extensive experience with Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient with Word and other Microsoft Office Products
Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills
Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master’s of Business Administration (MBA)
Experience using Tableau or similar data visualization tool
Crewmember Expectations:
Regular attendance and punctuality
Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
Able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
