We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Analyst to be a part of the PP&C Analytics Team at Lowe’s. The team is responsible for providing insights that are used to support and drive margin improvement strategies.
This role will be responsible for partnering directly with the US – Pricing/Promo/Credit organization to drive and develop analysis to support decision making for Lowe’s Private Label Credit Card business.
The successful candidate will be a creative thinker with a strong bias to action that has the ability to collaborate across Pricing/Promo/Credit/Merchandising/IT teams. This role requires a self-starter with strong modeling and problem-solving skills. The candidate should have a proven track record of influencing the business and supporting decision-making in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Provide strategic insights, measurement of Credit Financing Offers, and performance analysis of customer acquisition programs/events.
Forecast Margin/Sales Impact to the business due to various credit programs/events and financing offers.
Risk and Impact assessment of credit offers on total company margin$.
Design, develop & deliver insightful financial reporting, dashboards/Scorecards, and analyses for leadership teams
Build complex financial models and analytical tools, perform sensitivity and Scenario analysis
Serve as a key business partner working directly with leadership and other stakeholders to influence financial performance
Ability to see the bigger picture by connecting dots between multiple projects driven within the team
Leverage financial/statistical modeling skills to draw meaningful insights from complex data sets
Implement process improvement initiatives such as reporting automation, process standardization, and forecasting tools
Education, Experience and Skills
Graduate (B.Tech/BE/B.Sc.) or Master’s in Business, Finance, or related Quantitative fields
3-6 years of prior experience, preferably 3 years in a Retail or analytical role
Strong data collection, collation, and cleansing skills using tools like SQL, SAS /R/Python and Alteryx
Knowledge of any one of the data visualization tools like PowerBI or MicroStrategy
Proficient in Excel (Power Pivots, Power Query, VBA) and PowerPoint
Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (MicroStrategy, Teradata, Hadoop, etc.)
Exceptional analytical skills, highly detail-oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities, experience working cross-functionally and with multiple stakeholders across locations
Ability to consolidate, analyze, and effectively communicate complex data
Critical thinking and decision making: The ability to solve complex problems
