Job Description & Qualifications
The Portfolio Strategy organization is a key functional pillar within International Markets Group (IMG), that provides the portfolio and product plans for business success. The IMG Portfolio Strategy organization is designed to cover multiple regions: MEA, ASIA PACIFIC, and ASEAN. This revised structure focuses on IMG Cycle Plan and Portfolio management, Regulatory compliance, Powertrain planning, Partnership opportunities and Inputs into Enterprise Product Line Management (EPLM).
 
  • Support IMG profitability priorities definition, (market/ segments), aligning with global Ford portfolio and global strategies
  • Define affordable IMG portfolio, while maximizing profitability
  • Investigate cross market trade opportunities including manufacturing footprint considerations
  • Manage Product & Powertrain Strategies and prioritization into Cycle Plan process
  • Facilitate IMG Cycle Plan process and feed into global Cycle Plan
  • Monitor emerging changes in safety, emissions and sustainability regulations and define affordable compliance plans for the portfolio
  • Define IMG Powertrain requirements, consistent with unique Fuels, Emissions, Electrification incentives, Local market requirements, including engine displacement taxes and duties, etc.
  • Define like for like markets and explore product development synergies
  • Develop broad market view, monitor customer data, competitive landscape, technology trends and activities
  • Develop market specific business opportunities, including partnerships with local digital service suppliers, after market services, second hand vehicle sales, etc.
  • Develop IMG product and business Point of View and feed market needs/wants into EPLM.
  • Develop IMG market requirements into Global technology planning, including local languages, APPs, etc.
  • Feed IMG insights and requirements into BEACONs.
  • Construct IMG strategy room to foster leadership decisions
Experience & Background Skills Required:
  • Engineering and/ or Business degree (highly desirable).
  • Prior Cycle Planning, Strategy, Finance, Planning, Program or Product Marketing experience
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork with peers, cross-functionally, internationally and with Leadership.
  • Expert analytical, communication and presentation skills.
