The TMX Group has an exciting opportunity for a Devops Analyst to join its growing practice around, Agile, Devops, Continuous Integration/Development, and Infrastructure as Code. This is a multi-discipline systems engineering position within our Production Support team supporting the continued growth and successes within our various business lines. The main focus will be on supporting agile teams ability to deliver reliable and secure technology and proactively preventing production issues and responding promptly in resolving production problems. The role will also be responsible for analyzing the issues in depth by utilizing appropriate tools or log files and providing hands-on troubleshooting of the application or infrastructure issues first. In addition, the individual is also responsible for ensuring that application deployment, control and monitoring adheres to established standards and practices.
Key Accountabilities:
Working closely with the Agile teams to develop Automation pipelines
Provide Level 2 production support for all applications and infrastructures
Responsible for supporting mission critical applications.
Troubleshoot and provide support for all environments as required
Provide DevOps requirements to the Agile Teams for new products
Follow application support processes in compliance with IT and Information Security Standards
Be part of a Centre of Excellence in the practice of DevOps and to help spread a culture of innovation
Identify opportunities to make systems more resilient and efficient using automation
Debug systems and identify issues quickly and effectively by analyzing metrics
Interact with external technical support groups, vendors, and internal business to manage problems through to resolution
Proactively identify problem areas for the team both technically and procedurally and recommend improvements
Identify system resource bottlenecks and work with other teams to test and tune systems for optimal performance
Collaborate regularly with colleagues both inside and outside the team
Off hours support (24/7) and shift work, flexible working hours as required

Must have experience with Linux and Windows
Must have experience with scripting Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell
Containers and Kubernetes
An inherent desire to automate everything
Proven excellence in written and verbal communication skills
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering and/or equivalent work experience
Excellent technical documentation skills
Demonstrated ability to be an active contributor in a collaborative environment and be willing to take on problem ownership within the team
The ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
Bilingual, French and English, spoken and written
3 to 5 years of SysAdmin/Devops experience on high availability production systems
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of financials markets
Knowledge with Ansible, Jenkins, Jira, Splunk and ServiceNow
Knowledge of at least one other Cloud Service Provider (e.g. AWS, GCE, Azure)
