SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Cyber Incident Handling Analyst III to support our customer in Weisbaden Germany. The ideal candidate will design, test and implement state of the art secure operating systems, networks and database products.
Conduct risk assessment and provide recommendations for application design.
Be involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.
Use encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies and information technology research.
Prepare security reports to regulatory agencies.
Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned.
Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
Demonstrate the ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
General knowledge of other related disciplines.
An active in scope Top Secret/SCI clearance is required
Bachelor of Science/Arts (Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics) +5, AS +7, major certification +7 or 11+ years specialized experience
DoD IAT Level II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) or higher is required
GIAC, CEH or CSIH certification at time of hire
Experience related to the defense of military information system and networks.
Experience in monitoring intrusion detection and security information management systems to detect malicious activity.
Experience in performing technical malware or forensic analysis.
Experience in incident response management systems reporting.
Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
