We are currently looking for proactive, analytical and team-oriented individuals to join our Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships – solution delivery organisation. This is a new role, designed for early-career / recent graduate hires, that are looking to learn on-the-job and develop a career within a health-tech and medical-devices environment.
In this role you will provide analytical and project delivery support to our teams, working on projects across EMEA. The successful candidate will engage directly with our local consulting teams and strategic customers (hospitals and healthcare providers) across the region, in addressing crucial operational and service delivery problems in a healthcare context. This will enable you to learn crucial business and consulting skills and build your experience in the sector, beyond your university training.
In this role, you will be expected to:
Successfully cooperate with defined Boston Scientific teams and customers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of key project targets, including data-analytics, structured communications and other project deliverables
Facilitate project delivery plans and build targeted plans for workstreams that you will own and manage
Develop your use and expertise in various solution delivery tools
Complete assigned tasks on the training curriculum designed as part of the development plan of this programme
Receive regular coaching and development feedback and supporting performance review
Subject to successful performance reviews and alignment with local business unit needs, candidates can expect to be given the opportunity to develop their career within the Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships division or pursue alternative career-paths within other Boston Scientific business units
Support of the Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships Team in setting up and implementing strategic customer projects in the areas of process optimization and therapy development. This will include:
Analysis and insight in the review, preparation and assessment of customer data
Support the facilitation of customer workshops
Drive targeted recommendations and enablement of analysis outputs
Collaborate with local project teams (including delivery consultants and architects) in development of customer deliverables. Review progress and findings to varied stakeholders including customer and BSC leadership.
Active participation in all project delivery activities including customer sessions, leadership reviews and other meetings
Contributes to development of annual strategic planning by providing insight and intelligence on accounts in remit to support growth of BSC market positioning and share (e.g. opportunity sizing and potential, market / products trends, operational capacity/throughput, therapy penetration, organisation assessment)
Facilitate the development of project standard tools and sharing learning experiences across HS&P delivery community
Enable project management including preparation of key documentation and development of milestone roadmap
Conducting market benchmarking analyses and integrating this to relevant projects
Knowledge Skills and Requirements:
Recent Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical (engineering/science) or economics related field
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office package with strong preference for proficiency in at least one database/analytics software package (eg Tableau, Mattlab, SQL)
Fluency in English + German
Desire to learn and develop in the healthcare/health-tech commercial sector. Willing to engage flexibly across numerous, varied projects in several geographies
Strong verbal and written communication skills: Engaging and proactive style.
Adaptable and fast learner: able to absorb new tools and approaches that will be exposed to
Well-organised with attention to detail: able to carefully and meticulously deconstruct a problem, building a plan to address with well-structured and comprehensive approaches
Creativity: supporting development of solutions for diverse customer challenges
Flexibility: willingness to travel (0-70%) as well as work remotely
Personal discipline and rigour: demonstratable ability to work independently and drive personal project plan between team/manager engagements
We will be running a recruitment process which if selected, will include 2 stages: a screening interview and a (virtual) competency-based interview-assessment day.
