Responsibilities

• Analyse, design and develop software solutions in consideration with coding quality standards
• Unit testing of developed code using various tools and frameworks
• Collaborate with peer developers and quality engineers to achieve overall technical goals
• Work in a dynamic Agile development environment and being adaptable to changing requirements
• Be a team player, effective communicator

Required Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years software development experience
• Excellent in problem-solving
• Thorough understanding of data-structures and algorithms 
• Experienced in developing webservices in Java – RESTful, SOAP
• Experienced in working with an RDBMS like MySQL or Postgres and any NoSQL DB like MongoDB (preferred)
• Hands-on knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot and ORM’s like Hibernate / Spring-JPA
• Willingness to learn and dive deep into complex problems
• Working knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and commercial product development practices
• Hands-on experience with Open Source tools for common capabilities (e.g., log4j, Quartz, ActiveMQ, Kafka)
• Expertise in one or more Version-Control Systems ( preferably GIT ) and Build-Automation Tools ( Maven or Gradle )
• Conceptual and working knowledge of Containerization tools, and Cloud-Native Development practices
• Development experience with any cloud like AWS
• Familiarity with DevOps processes
• Able to demonstrate effective teamwork both within the immediate team and across teams
• Strong communication Skills
