WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:
Provide technical support to Sales, Product Management, Customer Care and Marketing, for the nVent ERICO product line (Lightning Protection, Grouding, surge and rail product line). Serve as a subject matter expert to the cross functional team for ERICO products.
Visit customer sites to review applications and provide training. Conduct ERICO Brand site surveys to analyze existing facilities and produce written reports making recommendations on the use of ERICO Brand products.
Provide technical application assistance to identify modified and engineered systems based on customer specification and application requirements.
Create and manage engineering documentation and drawing to assure long term consistency
Conduct technical review of Marketing collateral including but not limited to data sheets, email blasts, catalogs, application guides, Weblog and social media posts.
Review training literature for technical accuracy including installation guides and procedures, operations manuals, online learning management systems (LMS).
Provide market specific intelligence and feedback on products and services to the commercial teams. Assist commercial teams with VOC visits.
Academic background in
BSME or MSME with higher-level technical training in mechanical engineering technical (proficiency with electrical is a plus).
3+ years’ experience in an engineering position specifically related to earthing, lightning protection and surge protection
Ability to work autonomously and from home office. Skills in researching, analyzing, and giving recommendation.
Knowledge and understanding of electromechanical and mechanical assemblies with a focus on applications sales and support
Excellent proficiency in English is necessary
