In your new job you will:

  • Convert scientific knowledge into hardware solution
  • Participate development phases from the first idea until the release of the solution
  • Work on and with the newest Infineon product technologies, including wide band-gap power semiconductors, for making existing systems more capable or create new solutions for future needs
  • Interact with international hardware and software specialists and bring your knowledge and skillset into new designs
  • Develop hardware and software solutions like PCB designs and related prototype boards, hard-& software debugging on real application
  • Test and evaluate technical parameter to make benchmarking in respect to common solutions
  • Prepare technical documentation for internal and external peers

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university / university of applied sciences degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, computer science, industrial engineering or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in the design, development and/or test of power supplies and WBG products
  • Experience with Simulation, Programming, Micro Controller, AutoCAD, PCB and software design
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to learn quickly and the motivation to work independently
  • Experience in technical customer support and intercultural communication
  • Fluent English skills required, German skills or willingness to learn it as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
