Key Accountabilities and Challenges

• Operate within and observe all relevant and applicable laws of Panama.
• Develop standard safe working procedures and actively participate in HSE initiatives.
• Carry out formal workplace inspections on a routine basis.
• Ensure work is executed in compliance with H&S, quality and environmental standards and procedures.
• Adherence to IT policies and processes to ensure consistent quality of service and responsiveness.
• Meet the main KPI of the role to design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance
of the existing Cobre Panama SharePoint portal.
• Develop SharePoint based solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs by conferring with stakeholders and IT
 Management
• Study systems flow, data usage, and work processes
• Perform software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint including
implementation of SharePoint-based workflows.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear
 code.
• Execute a rigorous pre-release phase of testing through the process of test review and analysis.
• Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment.
• Collaborate in the management of cost-cutting processes within the framework of the ICT government.
• Ensure that ICT-delivered services and end-user productivity goals are understood and exceeded.
• Consider cost saving measures without compromising service delivery.
• Adopt the FQM Way culture – “Smarter, Bolder, Driven, Together”
• Act as deputy for colleagues as required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Education
• A Tertiary Qualification in IT or equivalent.
• ITIL certification required.
• Microsoft MCPD 70-576, SharePoint 2010/2013 Designing and Developing Applications certification required
• Skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a ICT team and all stakeholders.
• Skilled in programming in any of the following languages: .NET 3.5, C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, C/C++, XLM.
• Extensive knowledge and strong skill in the use of SharePoint Designer, Web Parts, and workflow creation with third party
products such as Nintex forms and workflows
• Ability to write Stored Procedures, write SQL queries, and ability to analyze the SQLdata.
• Strength in production of thorough and concise functional and design specifications as well as easily readable end user
documentation
• Strong ability to adhere to standards, work with limited supervision, and meet deadlines for service delivery.
• Ability to work to a high standard under pressure in a sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in an IT Infrastructure team, preferably in a large or international environment.
• Experienced as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications.
• Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search,
 Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services a plus
• Experience in developing Business Intelligence dashboards highly regarded
Language
Fluency in English and Spanish highly regarded.
