In your role, you will:

-
Develop and deliver machine learning (ML) software solutions to meet business needs across Bombardier’s organization and help integrate them into production workflows.

-
Design, implement, deploy and optimize maintainable and reusable ML services to enrich Bombardier’s data and advanced analytics solutions ecosystem.

-
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, cloud architects to deliver ML-based systems for cloud and edge applications.

-
Configure robust environments handling the secure connection to data systems and enabling ML workflows.

-
Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the quality assurance and continuous delivery of new functionality to ML solutions users.

-
Implement ML solutions monitoring and control and optimize their performance.

-
Apply agile project management (Scrum, Kanban) and increase AI/ML development teams’ maturity.

-
Drive the digital transformation by working with users and business stakeholders to support technical decisions, define requirements and collect their feedback to maximize value for the business units.

-
Share knowledge with the team and the broader AI community, provide support for user training and problem solving.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering or related quantitative field.
-
You have a minimum of 2 years developing and scripting (Python, R, Java, C#, Powershell, bash).

-
You have a minimum of 2 years industry experience working with complex data structures, data modeling, data transformations and machine learning algorithms (ML).

-
You have skills in software architecture and modular software development, microservice architecture, API development.

-
You have experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), and big data systems (Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Synapse).

-
You have experience extracting structured and unstructured data.

-
You have experience with programs involving scientific calculations and data manipulation, or experience in developing ML algorithms;

-
You have experience with ML techniques for time series forecasting and natural language processing.

-
You have experience developing operational models, carry out data analytics and optimization using machine learning & deep learning.

-
You have experience with agile development methods and the skills necessary to effectively integrate into a collaborative work environment in agile mode.

-
You master the use of Linux and Microsoft environments.

-
You have knowledge in best practices for source control and application lifecycle management. (Azure DevOps, VSTS, JIRA, …).

You have experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (including Azure ML, ADF, ADLS, cognitive services).

-
You show leadership and decision-making initiative for solving complex problems.

-
You have strong problem solving and debugging skills.

-
You have experience working with cross-functional teams with deep and diverse technical backgrounds.

-
You have strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills in both French and English.

You are connected to industry trends and propose novel and innovative solutions.
