Job Responsibilities

General responsibilities:
  • Support DC Ops Manager in Leading function contribute improvements of Supply Chain costs and service levels with a focus on functional business metrics.
  • DC network design. Collaborate with Supply Chain Development develop a DC design strategy, which balances costs efficiency and effectiveness with agreed and desired client and cus mer service levels in compliance with local regulations. Ensure proper attention cold chain, VAS, inven ry control, and returns management. Drive execution of strategy in close collaboration with BU and SCM Management.
  • DC sourcing and management. Manage own and outsourced DCs including selection of vendors, contract negotiation, and KPI reviews, ensure fulfillment of contractual service commitments. Collaborate with vendors continuously improve deliverables and negotiate frameworks for how share the benefits.
  • DC operations planning. Lead implementation and operation of a warehouse management system drive efficeincy and effectiveness of DC operations in collaboration with global DC resources and local BU and SCM Management. 
  • Formulate strategies optimize s rage and handling capacity (time, cube, accuracy) while ensuring manpower resources and asset utilization, and plan critical resources in advance ensure efficient distribution center operations.
  • Receipt, inspection, put away, pick/pack, and dispatch. Lead the daily operation of the main and branch DCs. Ensure that the process from goods receipt dispatch is efficient and agile with cus mer service levels in mind. Communicate major events and deviances from planned dispatches BU and SCM Management in a timely manner.
  • VAS, Inven ry Control, Returns , and Destruction. Lead VAS operation ensure that services are well executed, costed, and quality controlled. Lead returns process from arrival at warehouse putaway. Lead destruction process.

Leadership responsibilities:
  • Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Supply Chain Management and DKSH behaviors as part of continuous learning 

Job Requirements

Functional skills and knowledge:
  • Demonstrate knowledge in DC management including warehouse management and VAS management
  • Demonstrate knowledge in warehouse management systems (WMS), ideally SAP
  • Experience in the performance materials, or technology supply chain
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions
  • Demonstrate capabilities communicate with different level of counter part
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity ols (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
Work experience:
  • Minimum five years’ experience in DC operations
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory level
