Assistant Project Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 502356) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)
The appointee will participate in a 4.5-year large-scale multidisciplinary research and community youth mental health project. It is Hong Kong’s first territory-wide initiative to build a youth-specific and youth-friendly mental health platform that provides timely preventive intervention to youth with distress and risk for mental health deterioration. The project will transform current youth services and provide a framework for future developments in youth mental health and youth-focused services both locally and internationally.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in public health, psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, clinical psychology, or other related disciplines, with at least 2 years’ experience in project management. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, strong leadership and management skills, and good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in writing and publishing official documents, marketing, and external relations would be highly desirable.
The appointee will assist the Project Manager in the overall management of the project. He/She will ensure good branding for the project; develop and implement effective communications strategy for the public and relevant professionals; prepare project documents including protocols, reports, publications, articles for social media and website contents; monitor and evaluate the protocol and guidelines; handle inquiries from external parties; conduct data analysis; and perform other duties as assigned.
