As an Assistant Project Manager at ALDI, you will be juggling multiple tasks while working against tight deadlines. You will be responsible for: 

  • Manage store refurbishments from concept to shovel ready, in an agile, fast paced environment
  • Business partnering projects with procurement and key departments
  • Manage dynamic project implementations concurrently
  • Coordinate flow of information from internal and external stakeholders
  • Review documentation and work with a variety of consultants to resolve design related issues
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Supporting the delivery of multiple project types - both broad and specialised
  • Provide support to the Project Manager with executing larger projects
  • Data sourcing from various systems and applications
  • Explore opportunities to improve processes within the department
  • Establish and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships


Essential Criteria: 

  • Proven organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure across multiple projects
  • A strong record of being self-driven and demonstrating initiative
  • A team player; able to work with a range of stakeholders
  • Manage conflicting priorities and multitask effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Professional and polite communication style
  • Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Office
  • Confident using varied software systems and platforms
  • Results and solutions orientated
  • Adapts well to change

The Assistant Project Manager reports to the Project Manager and communicates directly to other Assistants, Regional Departments and external parties. The Assistant Project Manager will work collaboratively with the entire team on a wide range of Projects, Compliance and Auditing tasks.

*Salary includes superannuation. Remuneration varies depending ALDI experience.
