Department Overview:

For financial institutions, and the organization who work with them, meeting complex regulatory compliance and tax requirements is costly, time consuming, and inefficient. Regulators globally are issuing new requirements across different jurisdictions with multiple deadlines for adherence. Organizations are struggling to keep pace, and many are moving from one compliance deadline to the next as they increase staff and adopt point solutions. This lack of integration across the organization impairs visibility into operations making it difficult to assess overlap between regulatory requirements and adopt a best practice approach for addressing these compliance challenges. 

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the best online user experience, which makes your role extremely important for our success and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, forms, and widgets.

The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into aesthetic, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Roles and Responsibilities:

UI-UX Designer should be able to perform below duties proficiently:

  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback received.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives
  • Plan and implement new designs
  • Optimize existing user interface designs
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
  • Create prototypes for new product ideas
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Job requirements and Qualifications:

The candidate should have:

  • Proven UI experience - 9-12 years of experience as an UI/UX Designer or similar role
  • Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
