Job Summary
  • Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies
  • Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends
  • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
  • May have budget responsibilities
  • Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
  • Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction
  • Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day
  • Responsible for managing the construction engineering functions on a project to ensure adherence to all engineering construction plans and specifications
  • Works as an integral part of the site construction team at the project as delineated by the applicable company project execution plans and procedures
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum  12 years of relevant working experience encompassing both pre and post contract in cost consultancy environment supporting building projects
  • Thailand QS experience and knowledge of Thailand construction laws and regulations would be a strong advantage
  • Recognized QS Certification like AIQS, RICS, etc. is essential
  • Proven leadership skills, including business development, technical leadership skills
  • Excellent persuasion and negotiation of critical issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong technical capabilities
  • Strong communication abilities in spoken and written English
  • Incumbent must be willing to be based in our Bangkok office
  • 10-15% travel required within Southeast Asia region may be expected
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
