The Department of Communicative Disorders at Jackson State University is accepting applications for a doctoral-level, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of speech-language pathology.

Ph.D. in Communication Disorders or a closely related area.

Minimum Required Licenses and/or Certifications

Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP).

Qualifications

The position involves clinical supervision and mentoring so clinical certification in speech-language pathology is required.

Candidates with teaching interests in neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, adult language disorders, and dysphagia are preferred, but all areas will be considered.
