Job Description & Summary

A career in Marketing and Communications, within Firmwide Corporate Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm.

Thought Leadership performs a vital role at various stages of business development, from creating brand awareness to raising the profile of PwC, communicating the credentials of the firm and generating brand loyalty.

Our Thought Leadership team works closely with the key stakeholders to conceptualise and formulate the overall thought leadership points of view for the respective service line/industry. You will help to develop, plan and deliver strategic reports that supports the firm’s priorities, reinforces our leading position in the profession and delivers value for our clients. It's an essential complement to the range of marketing and sales tools that include PR, advertising, and events.

Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Associate.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in writing thought leadership reports/articles/decks leveraging primary data and graphical analysis as well as secondary research from external publications/news sources to generate unique insights
  • Helps to coordinate the production of research projects throughout the content creation lifecycle including survey administration, fieldwork, data analysis, and insight generation.
  • Helps to coordinate communications between global and local stakeholders (internal), on major global thought leadership and research pieces, acting as liaison
  • Builds strong relationships with external networks and member firms across the world, as well as other thought leaders outside PwC
  • Maintains and updates existing thought leadership, insights and key publications.  Gathers information and consolidates project updates for value reporting
  • Provides support in marketing activities of thought leadership and alternative content production (social media, interviews, press releases, videos, podcasts etc.)
  • Conducts desk research with marketing and insights analysis 
  • Reviews internal and external reports and documents for language, consistency, clarity, technicalities and sensitivity

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably with a business marketing background; journalism experience also desirable
  • Native English speaker with professional writing skills preferred
  • Ability to read and write in Chinese is advantageous but not essential
  • Minimum three years of relevant editorial experience
  • Possess strong business acumen with analytical mindset  
  • A team player with the ability to manage multiple timelines and work schedules
  • Well-versed with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Power Point
