Job Description

This role is to support and lead the execution of transactions for the transport, infrastructure power & utilities team. This team works with leading Australian listed infrastructure companies as well as a range of leading global infrastructure and pension funds. The team has a strong pipeline and offers you the opportunity to develop your execution and client coverage capabilities.
Key elements of the role include:
* Analysis: Leading and/or performing valuation, financial modelling, credit, capital structure and financial returns analysis
* Communications: Preparing and presenting materials for boards of directors, management teams, internal review committees and solicitations (pitches). In addition, you will also be responsible for day-to-day engagement/communications with Clients.
* Coordination: Organizing teams of bankers, lawyers, accountants, and client executives to draft offer documents such as a prospectus, ‘teaser’, information memorandum, management / investor presentations and key legal agreements
* Due diligence: Conducting accounting, business, financial and regulatory due diligence
* Origination: Strong knowledge of the Australian infrastructure market/industry with an ability to contribute to idea generation
* Training: Demonstrating a strong overall investment banking skill set that develop associates and analysts that work directly with you
* You possess strong analytical and quantitative skills
* You can multi-task with strong attention to detail
* You have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and proven work ethic
* You have strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to liaise with colleagues and clients at all levels
* You have excellent PC skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Factset and IRESS
* You have the ability to exercise good judgement working in a highly pressurized and time sensitive environment
* Your strong financial services industry experience either in an investment bank, accounting firm or relevant corporate
