About the role

Thiess are seeking Auto Electricians  for permanent employment opportunities to work on the Brockman project. 

Our recruitment team will be commencing shortlisting and processing of applicants immediately in order to secure a start on schedule.

Scope

With a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, reporting to the Leading Hand, you will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do. In return, we will celebrate your achievements and provide great opportunities for you to take your career to the next level.

Some of your duties will include;

• Complete relevant maintenance based activities to achieve site production targets.
• Conduct required inspection to maximise equipment utilisation.
• Job Planning Sheets (JPS) are completed as required with accuracy to enable job completion to plan
• Conduct technical inspections and job estimations
• Operate equipment for maintenance purposes as required
• Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems

About you

What skills and experience do you need?

• Trade Certificate in Automotive Electrical Fitting or relevant equivalent
• Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry
• HR Drivers Licence essential
• Demonstrated experience with;
• CAT Dump Trucks, Dozers and Loaders
• Hitachi Excavators
• Wide range of Ancillary Fleet
• Air conditioning maintenance, service and repairs
