Purpose: The position will be responsible to ensure profitable market share and net sales growth with Field Accounts and expand B2B Business opportunities while respecting the brand image.

This role is ultimately accountable for individual and team productivity and delivery against assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
  • Lead & develop the team while delivering the assigned sales targets for Field Accounts (Business and Standard Partners).
  • Be the market lead for B2B business opportunities and provide key input into future developments based on customer and market dynamics and insights.
  • To group field customers, set objectives, strategies, tactics, allocate resources and ensure translation into action plans respecting the framework set by the customer portfolio strategies.
  • To ensure a reliable, adequate, and competitive customer service level.
  • To ensure that all customers are correctly allocated to the sales channels.
  • To create, cooperating with Brands, the Account Activation Plans.
  • To ensure a coordinated and efficient sell-in process, usage of sell-in tools and the correct negotiation and implementation of trade terms.
  • Manage department projects for the channel (i.e., account analysis, goals, marketing preparation) upon request.
  • To support the Sales Director to achieve departmental goals.

  • Broad & deep knowledge in own functional area, combining theoretic and practical knowledge.
  • Strong written, verbal and, professional communication skills. Comfortable giving/receiving feedback as well as delivering difficult messages.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas; filter noise and focus on critical tasks .
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships at various organizational levels and influence others to obtain goals.
  • Ability in core leadership skills such as: Coaching and development of team members; effectively communicate while fostering strong employee engagement; develop and maintain relationships that builds a foundation of trust and open dialog; effectively empower people using clearly defined guidelines and appropriate follow-up.
  • Strong problem solving & analytical skills. Uses data, including financial data, to analyze trends and develop solutions.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities while working autonomously.
  • Solid understanding of retail and field-based sales accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interface at all levels of a business via phone, written communication and in person.
  • Proven experience working with business deadlines and demonstrated results orientation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education.
  • 5 Years experience of relevant commercial experience
  • Two years related leadership experience preferred.
  • A passion for sports or experience in the athletic industry preferred.
  • Advanced English preferred.
